The Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Genetics is dedicated to cutting edge research in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Organismal Physiology and Molecular Genetics. Department Resources include:
- A world class faculty organized into centers focused on medical investigations of the most devastating diseases effecting mankind.
- Modern research laboratories equipped with state of the art instrumentation including a mass spectrometry center for use of departmental faculty.
- Core mass spectrometry and molecular analysis facilities to support investigations designed to address 21st century questions in medical proteomics and molecular genetics.
Members of the department currently have extramural support from the National Institute of Health (NIH), Department of Defense (DOD), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Science Foundation, commercial and other sources.
