Since our first graduating class in 1982, USU's MDs, Nurses and graduates in biomedical sciences have provided exceptional service in their distinctive U.S. Military and civilian careers. Today, America's Medical School has 689 enrolled students and 5,370 graduates. Over 1,438 graduates in Biomedical Sciences spearhead aggressive medical research. Today's 735 graduates of the School of Nursing blend science, research and field training in advanced practice and Ph.D. degrees. The USU's Postgraduate Dental College offers advanced degrees to the military's dental community, having graduated 181 students since establishment.
The recently established Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program is a 24-month program that enables highly-qualified enlisted service members to complete the preparatory coursework for application to medical school while maintaining an active duty status.
