<b><i>Course Overview:&nbsp;&nbsp;</i></b>The overall goal of this course is to provide leaders with knowledge, skills, tools, and resources to manage conflict and confrontational situations effectively.<br><br><br><b><i>Course Objectives:</i></b>&nbsp; Successful completion of this course will increase participant’s knowledge and ability to:<br>* Approach conflict with a solution-focused mindset.<br>* Discover tools to proactively reduce unproductive conflict.<br>* Engage in difficult conversation that with confident with confidence &amp; skill.<br>* Discover how to communicate assertively &amp; constructively disagree without creating defensiveness.<br>* Discuss emotional triggers.<br>* Discuss strategies for managing difficult interpersonal situations with diplomacy, tact, and credibility.<br><br><b><i>Eligibility:</i></b>&nbsp; All civilian federal employees at USU, AFRRI, and Military Personnel.
