Craig Goolsby, MD, MEd, FACEP is the Vice Chair for Education in the Uniformed Services University's (USU) Department of Military and Emergency Medicine, and the Director of the Hybrid Simulation Lab at the Val G. Hemming Simulation Center. Dr. Goolsby is a distinguished graduate of the US Air Force Academy, received his MD degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, completed emergency medicine residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his Master of Education in the Health Professions program at Johns Hopkins University in 2016.

Dr. Goolsby deployed twice to Iraq as an Air Force emergency physician prior to accepting his current position at USU. He directs tactical combat casualty care training for the school's military medical students. His research interests are medical education, tactical combat casualty care, military to civilian knowledge transfer, and hybrid simulation.
