Biography
Dr. Arnold is originally from California where he has lived in multiple locations to include the cities of Riverside, Grass Valley, Chico and Fairfield. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree, in Biology, in 1998, from California State University, Chico. Prior to matriculating to medical school, Dr. Arnold was commissioned into the Air Force after becoming a recipient of the Health Professional Scholarship Program. He received his osteopathic medical degree, in 2003, from Des Moines University, Iowa, where he was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi osteopathic medicine honors fraternity as a first year medical student. Dr. Arnold completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at David Grant (USAF) Medical Center at Travis AFB, California. During his second and third years he served as the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Clinic Chief starting the first ever osteopathic referral service in that facility. Dr. Arnold was recognized at graduation for being the Outstanding Family Medicine Resident of the Year.
Upon graduation from residency, in 2006, Dr. Arnold was assigned to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam providing full scope family medicine care to all active duty members and families in that area. In 2008, Dr Arnold was deployed as the Medical Operations Chief to the Provincial Reconstruction Team assigned to Zabul Province, Afghanistan, where he received a Bronze Star. Following deployment in 2009, Dr. Arnold was invited to be core residency faculty at Travis Air Force Base at the same program he graduated from. During his second year there, he was made Assistant Program Director and selected to attend the Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. After serving at Travis, he was selected to attend a civilian-sponsored Obstetrics Fellowship at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California in 2012-2013. Following fellowship, he was picked to be faculty at the tri-service the National Capital Consortium Family Medicine Residency Program at Fort Belvoir, Virginia where he served as both the Senior Associate Program Director and Director of Osteopathic Education. During his four years there, he ensured that the residency program was the first ever in the DOD to be awarded Osteopathic Recognition Status by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. As of 2017, he has serves as the Director of Osteopathic Education for the Eglin Family Medicine Residency in Florida. Dr. Arnold has been recognized several times for his strong commitment to residency education; being awarded USAFP's Family Physician of the Year nominated by his residents and was named Physician Educator of the Year for both the Air Force Material Command and the Air Force, District of Washington. He has also been awarded faculty of the year four times by the residents he has trained.

Biography
He currently serves as the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, at Fort Hood, Texas. He is a member of the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians, serving as a member and a Research Judge of its Clinical Investigations Committee.
He previously served as the Associate Program Director of the Residency Program, the Officer-in-Charge of the Residency Clinic, and the Research Director of the Residency Program at Fort Hood. He has also served as a member of the Institutional Review Board of the Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. He deployed for 12 months to Afghanistan as an infantry Battalion Surgeon with the 3rd Brigade (Rakkasans) of the 101st Airborne Division, where he earned a Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Medical Badge.
Dr. Baird is a graduate of the Command and General Staff Course, Captains Career Course, Officer Basic Course, and Air Assault School. He is a distinguished honor graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International and Strategic History.

Education and Research
Dr. Beutler is an acclaimed international educator and researcher in sports medicine and musculoskeletal injury prevention. He directs the Tri-service military sports medicine fellowship in Washington DC and is the educational director for 12 sports medicine fellows in the National Capital Sports Medicine Consortium each year. As a member of the JUMP-ACL Partnership and of the CHAMP Consortiums, his study teams have received multiple national grants and awards for their ground-breaking work in injury prevention and injury prediction, both in military and civilian populations. Col Beutler has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, edited a sports medicine textbook, and successfully evoked deep slumber and copious drool from unsuspecting lecture attendees around the world.
Executive Leadership
Lt Col Beutler is on the executive committee for multiple national and military organizations dedicated to improving the health and safety of military and civilian populations. As a member of the Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) at USU, Dr. Beutler works to translate scientific knowledge into policies and clinical practice that optimize physical resilience in military warfighters.
Background and Personal Data
Dr. Beutler was born in Lafeyette, Indiana. His Hoosier birthright proving insufficient to overcome his congenital lack of athletic talent--he was forced to seek gainful employment outside the NBA. Due to circumstances largely beyond his control, he received his M.D. from Duke University and is an active member of the AOA. Upon arriving home, he transforms into a large plaything for his children.

Biography
Dr. Jonas has fulfilled several roles for the US Air Force Medical Corps. Dr. Jonas served as USU Family Medicine core faculty from June 2016 until June 2020, including service as Multi-Systems Module co-director. From 2012-2016, he was a physician for the White House Medical Unit (WHMU) in Washington DC where he also served as WHMU Deputy Director as well as Chief of Clinical & Executive Medicine Services. Dr. Jonas completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship after spending 4 years as faculty member at Eglin Air Force Base Family Medicine Residency (where he was a student rotation site coordinator). He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Jonas is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). He has served as Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians (USAFP) President, Vice President, Board of Directors member and program co-chair. He has been Alternate Delegate and Delegate to the AAFP Congress of Delegates.

Biography
Dr. Klein is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University. He has authored more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to reproductive health, sexual and gender minority youth, eating disorders, and psychosocial screening for adolescents.
Dr. Klein spent 5 years as a faculty member at the National Capital Consortium Family Medicine Residency in Fort Belvoir, Virginia where he served as a Medical Student Rotation Site Coordinator and Associate Program Director. In 2018, he deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He was previously the Medical Director of the Lajes Air Base Military Clinic in the Azores, Portugal. In 2016, he received the US Air Force Surgeon General's Award for Clinical Excellence.
He enjoys mentoring medical students, residents, and junior clinicians, caring for his patients, and spending time with his family.

Biography
Dr. Saguil received his B.A. in Chemistry from Duke University and his M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine. After completing his residency at DeWitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, he has been stationed in Grafenwoehr, Germany; Fort Lewis, Washington; and Fort Gordon, Georgia. He has deployed to Afghanistan and served as the Chief of Primary Care for the NATO Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit in Kandahar, Afghanistan; his actions in theater were recognized with the Bronze Star and the Canadian Chief of Defence Staff Commendation.

Biography
Dr. Saperstein was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, and Spain. Although not part of a military family when a child, the frequent moves seemed to suit him, and contributed to his joining the Navy “to see the world” at 17. Dr. Saperstein is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, Tulane University Medical School, Puget Sound Family Medicine Residency at Naval Hospital, Bremerton, and the Faculty Development Fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill. Prior to arriving at USUHS in 2012, his tours of duty included serving at Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan; Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL; and Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy. He is the Director of the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians’ Mentorship program, co-Director of the Wounded Warrior Partnership, and Faculty Lead for the Apollo Society (a group dedicated to sharing the arts in the healthcare community). His interests include hitting the pitch for a game of futbol, live theater, and reading fiction.

Biography
faculty member, Obstetrics Director, Flight Commander and Assistant Program Director of the new Nellis Family Medicine Residency in 2009. In 2014, he became Military Program Director at the Saint Louis University Family Medicine Residency at Scott AFB, IL. In the spring of 2017, he assumed the role of Program Director at Nellis Family Medicine Residency.
During his time in service, he has been deployed to Bagram, Afghanistan providing care to service members and local nationals in the outpatient, inpatient and ICU settings. He has also served international communities in three different countries and taught pre-medical and medical students in the across the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Snyder currently holds academic appointments as an Assistant Clinical Professor with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and as an Associate Clinical Professor with USUHS.

During her USAF career, Dr. Vitrikas has served in many roles: as a staff physician at Sembach AB, Germany and as faculty and subsequently Residency Director of two Air Force Residency Programs at Travis AFB, California and Scott AFB, Illinois. Dr. Vitrikas has contributed scholarly writings on a variety of topics including obstetrics, thrombophilias and diabetes.
Dr. Vitrikas is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians (USAFP). Previously she served in the role of Resident Member of the board and as Chair of the Resident and Student Affairs Committee of this organization.

LTC Will began his military career after graduating from Davidson College in Davidson, NC in 1998. He was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship (HPSP) prior to attending Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.
