Injury Prevention Research Lab
The Injury Prevention Research Laboratory (IPRL), sponsored by the Department of Family Medicine, monitors the epidemiology, investigates the mechanisms, and researches prevention and treatment strategies of musculoskeletal injuries in the active-duty, dependent, and retired military population and in related cohorts.
Military Primary Care Research Network (MPCRN)
The Military Primary Care Research Network connects medical professionals at the 15 military family medicine residency training sites to promote collaborative scientific inquiry and physician improvement.
The two main lanes for the MPCRN are
1. Investigator-Initiated Original Research. The MPCRN can provide guidance in study design, statistical analysis and editorial/publishing assistance.
2. Ongoing research. MPCRN can facilitate networking and connections for individuals who would like to get involved with an upcoming or ongoing project, but don't have the time/experience to be a Principal Investigator.
