Foundations Course Requirements

The Foundations in Health Professions Education (FHPE) is meant for individuals who wish to enhance their skills in leadership, research, and teaching. It is a stepping stone towards the MHPE and PhD in HPE degrees; it can also serve as a stand-alone credential for those individuals interested in receiving an introduction to the theory and practice of health professions education. The FHPE requires completion of 10 quarter credit hours from the core courses listed below, plus a minimum of 2 quarter credit hours from the list of elective courses.
