Dear MED Faculty,

It has been a tremendous honor to serve as your department Chair over the past year.  I am grateful to Dr. Lou Pangaro for facilitating a smooth transition and for his continued mentorship.  I want you to know that I am fully committed to ensuring the preservation and growth of the incredible legacy Dr. Pangaro has entrusted in the Chair's office.

Chair of Medicine Grants:

Jay P. Sanford Travel Grant

• Nominees must be a resident, fellow, or non-USU billeted faculty (within 5 years from GME training graduation). Applicants must be designated as USU Teaching Fellow by their respective Departments or carry a USU faculty appointment as either an Instructor or Assistant Professor.

• Nominee will submit a submission-ready manuscript that describes results from original research or a quality-improvement project.

• Recognition consists of an individual plaque and a Grant Award of $10,000 in funds to be used over a 3 year period for travel and/or publication costs.
