In an effort to meet the ever-challenging direction of curriculum reform, the Department of Military and Emergency Medicine (MEM) has redefined and re-energized its medical field practicums (MFP). Those who are familiar with the traditional Joint Operation Bushmaster-Kerkesner will find these new medical field practicums an exciting and innovative focus in operational military medicine. MEM now offers four medical field practicums (MFP 101, 102 (Advanced Medical Combat Experience), MFP 201 (Gunpowder) and 202- traditional Bushmaster). Not only have the actual field practicums evolved but MEM has increased the number and dates of opportunities as well.
