To develop and test a provider education intervention promoting the 5-2-1-0 childhood health and wellness program.

Sharing Practices for Oral health Knowledge Enhancement (SPOKE): A family medicine immersion experience with our medical neighbors in dentistry

To develop, evaluate, and disseminate an immersive oral health training model that can improve access to early detection and preventive interventions by expanding the oral health clinical competency of primary care physicians, which in turn can lead to improved oral health.

Partnering with Eglin Air Force Base, FL, Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, GA, Ehrling Berquist Hospital, NE,  and Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center, NV

IPASS on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service: Adapting effective resident handoff tools to improve patient safety

To adapt and implement a proven pediatric-designed Resident Handoff Bundle (RHB) on the Family Medicine inpatient service that will consist of 1) team training, 2) verbal mnemonics, and 3) standardization of written/computerized handoff tools.
