Biography
Dr. Krantz was formerly Chair of the USUHS Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology between 1999-2014, and was one of a group of founders of the USU Center for Deployment Psychology (CDP), and CDP Principal Investigator between 2006-2015. In the past, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of the APA journal Health Psychology, president of the Health Psychology Division of APA, and president the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research. He is active in graduate education, and has supervised >24 doctoral dissertations in Medical and Clinical Psychology, trained 11 post-doctoral fellows, and currently has 4 Ph.D. students in his lab. Biography
While in uniform, he served in many leadership roles including: Clinic Chief (outpatient mental health clinic; multiple assignments), Chief of Neuropsychological Services (multiple assignments), Chief of Mental Health Team (3 deployed teams), acting Director of Training (internship), acting Head of Psychology Training Faculty, Director of Externship Training, Family Advocacy Officer, and Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention Program Manager. He also served 7 months as staff Neuropsychologist at National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) at Walter Reed National Medical Center MD.
During his time in the USAF, Dr. Bennion always had an active clinical treatment case load (therapy). He completed over 2,000 psychological and neuropsychological assessment cases and for the past 15 years has worked as a part-time or full-time neuropsychologist. After retiring from the USAF, Dr. Bennion worked as Staff Neuropsychologist and then Chief Neuropsychologist, Intrepid Spirit One NICoE Satellite (TBI Clinic) at Ft Belvoir VA. Prior to his USAF time, Dr. Bennion served approximately 4 years in the Virginia Army National Guard as an enlisted field medic. As USUHS faculty, he continues clinical work through part-time practice at the TBI Clinic at Ft Belvoir VA.
Over the course of his career, he has been a clinical supervisor for 6 unlicensed psychologists, ~30 interns, ~12 externs, and ~15 neuropsychology or CADAC technicians.
His areas of interest include: neuropsychological, cognitive and personality assessment; medical and graduate-level education and remediation for struggling learners; enhancement of cognitive functioning; and mild traumatic brain injury.

Biography
Dr. Holloway currently serves as the Director for the Suicide Care, Prevention and Research Initiative (Suicide CPR Initiative) at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The Suicide CPR Initiative focuses on programmatic research in the area of military suicide prevention with an emphasis on developing and empirically evaluating psychosocial interventions and programs for service members and dependents. Support for Dr. Holloway’s research is provided by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program; the United States Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy Suicide Prevention Programs; the United States Special Operations Command; Department of Defense (DoD) Suicide Prevention Office; Brain and Behavior Research Foundation; and the Military Operational Medicine Research Program. Over the past decade, Dr. Holloway has presented at numerous national and international conferences. She has trained and supervised military graduate and medical students as well as DoD providers and VA Suicide Prevention Coordinators. Dr. Holloway has previously served as an educator at the Center for Deployment Psychology and a member of the DoD Suicide Prevention and Risk Reduction Committee. Most recently, she has served as a member of the Defense Health Board Task Force on the Prevention of Suicide by Members of the Armed Forces and is currently the Chair of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Human Factors and Medicine, Research Task Group on Military Suicide. In 2014, Dr. Holloway in collaboration with her military colleagues disseminated the Air Force Guide for Suicide Risk Assessment, Management, and Treatment.

Biography
Drs. McClenen and Landoll are co-directors of the pSyTORM (pSychological Training, Operations, and Research in the Military; pronounced ‘storm’) Lab. The pSyTORM lab is focused on developing military psychologists as leaders in both clinical application and responsible conduct of research focused on military psychology. Students in the pSyTORM lab are expected to develop research skills that complement the work of active duty clinical psychologists as scientist-practitioners. This includes an emphasis on program evaluation and quality improvement as well as conducting collaborative research across the Military Health System with anticipated relevance at all levels from tactical to strategic. The lab operates under a co-mentorship model which involves joint mentorship meetings and weekly planning meetings with lab members. Other military-affiliated faculty participate in the lab as appropriate.

Biography
Dr. Grunberg earned baccalaureate degrees in Medical Microbiology and Psychology from Stanford University (1975); earned M.A. (1977), M.Phil. (1979), and Ph.D. (1980) degrees in Physiological and Social Psychology from Columbia University; and received doctoral training in Pharmacology at Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons under a National Research Service Award (NRSA, 1976-79). Dr. Grunberg helps train physicians, psychologists, and nurses to serve in the Armed Forces or Public Health Service, and scientists for research positions. He has published 200 papers addressing behavioral medicine, stress, and leadership. Dr. Grunberg has received awards from the U.S. Surgeon General, CDC, FDA, American Psychological Association, NIH, Society of Behavioral Medicine, and USU. He has served as President of the USU Faculty Senate and has chaired USU committees including: Strategic Planning; Manpower; Health, Safety, and Wellness; Appointment, Promotions, and Tenure. Outside USU, he has chaired Working Groups for the MacArthur Foundation and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In 2015, Dr. Grunberg was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar (PLS).
Dr. Grunberg and his research group (see www.usuhs.edu/faculty/grunberg) study leadership, stress (psychological and physical, including mTBI and PTSD), and appetitive behaviors (including nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, and food consumption). His teaching includes topics in leadership, social psychology, psychobiology, behavioral neuroscience, and sports psychology.
Dr. Grunberg has supervised 36 doctoral dissertations in Medical Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Neuroscience, and has served on many master and doctoral degree committees. He currently is training a GSN Ph.D. student. In addition, he mentors faculty members in MEM in his role as MEM Director of Faculty Development.

Biography
Prior to being stationed at USU, Dr. Landoll held several positions within the 20th Medical Group at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC. He served as the Chief, Mental Health Clinic, and the Behavioral Health Optimization Program Manager. He has also deployed as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape (SERE) Psychologist at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Freedom's Sentinel.
Dr. Landoll's research interest span several areas in child, pediatric, and health psychology. He has over 70 publications and presentations on these topics, as well as areas including school mental health and supervision of clinical assessment. His research broadly focuses on two main topic areas: primary care behavioral health, and adolescent peer relationships (i.e., romantic relationships, friendships, and peer victimization, including cyber victimization) and internalizing disorders (i.e., social anxiety, depression). He is the Principal Investigator for the Military Active-Duty Reproductive + Sexual Health (MARSH) Research Program. He is a member of the American Board of Clinical Psychology, the American Psychological Association, the Collaborative on Healthy Parenting in Primary Care, the Society for Military Psychology and the Society of Pediatric Psychology. He has held various leadership positions in the American Psychological Association's Division 19 (Society for Military Psychology), including Chair, Early Career Psychology Committee, Chair, APA Convention Program and is the Treasurer-Elect for the Society.

He was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies of Science in 2008 and served as President of the American Psychological Association (APA) in 2000. For over 38 years he was on the staff of U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye (D-Hawaii) retiring as his Chief of Staff. He has received numerous national awards including the Order of Military Medical Merit; Distinguished Service Medal, USUHS; National League for Nursing Council for Nursing Centers, First Public Policy Award; Sigma Theta Tau, Inc., International Honor Society of Nursing, First Public Service Award; Ruth Knee/Milton Wittman Award for Outstanding Achievement in Health/Mental Health Policy, NASW; Delta Omega Honor Society Award for Outstanding Alumnus from a School of Public Health; APA Outstanding Lifetime Contributions to Psychology Award; American Psychological Foundation Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement in the Practice of Psychology; and Distinguished Alumni Award, University of Hawaii. He has been awarded three honorary degrees. He is currently the editor of Psychological Services. He has over 200 publications.
