Mr. Taylor serves as a Project Manager at the USU’s Center for Global Health Engagement (CGHE). In his role as the Playbooks Initiative Project Manager, he supports implementation of the research, development, monitoring, and evaluation of the Playbooks Initiative; which is an initiative to develop operational support tools for Global Health Engagement activities.

Prior to joining CGHE, Mr. Taylor was a Senior Operations Coordinator supporting the Defense Health Agency’s Armed Forces Health Surveillance Branch. He provided strategic, administrative, and operational leadership and support to staff conducting near real time event and indicator based disease surveillance and epidemiological reporting for the Department of Defense.

Mr. Taylor served 20 years in the US Air Force as a Public Health Technician and retired as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer. His active military service concluded with an assignment to the US Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) as the Superintendent of the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center.

Mr. Taylor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University, and his Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Maryland University College.
