Entered the Army with a ROTC Scholarship to Tulane University (1991-1995). Received an Army HPSP Scholarship to Tulane Medical School (1995-1999). Received an educational delay to attend a Pediatric residency at Tulane Hospital for Children (1999-2002). Upon graduation, first active duty assignment was as the Division Support Command Surgeon to 101st Airborne Div with 12mos in Iraq (2002-2004). After the operational tour, was moved to BAMC to be a General Pediatrician (2004-2006). Was selected as General Pediatrics Service Chief at BAMC (2007-2014) w/ 12mos in Iraq as BN Surgeon to 1st Infantry Div (2008-2009). Served as Deputy Department Chief of Pediatrics, BAMC (2014-2016) and then Chief of Pediatrics, BAMC (2016-2018). Was selected to be BAMC Deputy Commander for Medical Services (2018-Current).
