Biography

Dr. Kari L. Wagner, Lieutenant Commander, Medical Corps, United States Navy, is a board certified physician in both general pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. She is currently on the neonatology staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where she is serving as the Associate Program Director for the National Capital Consortium Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship and Medical Director of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center NICU High Risk Developmental Follow-up Program. Her clinical research interests include exhaled volatile organic compounds as markers of inflammatory conditions of pregnancy and early neonatal life and long term health outcomes of children born preterm. Dr. Wagner is a native of Indiana and lives in Maryland with her husband and daughter.
