Biography
During her USAF career, Dr. Vitrikas has served in many roles: as a staff physician at Sembach AB, Germany and as faculty and subsequently Residency Director of two Air Force Residency Programs at Travis AFB, California and Scott AFB, Illinois. Dr. Vitrikas has contributed scholarly writings on a variety of topics including obstetrics, thrombophilias and diabetes.
Dr. Vitrikas is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians (USAFP). Previously she served in the role of Resident Member of the board and as Chair of the Resident and Student Affairs Committee of this organization.
