Biography

Paul Bostrom, MD Lt Col, USAF, MC joined the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics, Global Health Division as an International Health Specialist in July 2019.

Dr. Bostrom is a board-certified dermatologist. He joined the US Air Force in 2001, and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and a dermatology residency at Wayne State University.

Dr. Bostrom has served as a Staff Dermatologist at JB-Andrews, MD and at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. Following these assignments, he served as an International Health Specialist at United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE). Prior to his arrival at USU, he was Chief of Medical Staff at the 47th Medical Group, Laughlin AFB, TX and at the 66th Medical Squadron, Hanscom AFB, MA.

Dr. Bostrom holds Associate, Regional, and Global International Health Specialist Special Experience Identifiers and speaks French and German fluently.
