Mission

The mission of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Uniformed Health Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) is to enhance the capacity and improve the quality of health care within the military and public health systems through education, research, consultation, and public service.

The PM&R Department is committed to the expansion and dissemination of knowledge of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, neuromuscular disorders, pain medicine and traumatic insults to the brain and spinal cord, particularly as they relate uniquely to military service.
