Abstract
The purpose of the study is to assess the association between insomnia and functional outcomes in treatment-seeking U.S. SMs, and sex-specific differences in that association. Military nurses are key to identifying and managing insomnia and can lead evidence-based interventions. The findings from the study will inform clinical decision-making, support
readiness-focused nursing strategies across austere and garrison military healthcare environments.
