Personnel with the following Identifications may escort visitors/guest onto Naval Support Activity Bethesda (NSAB) and must remain with them at ALL TIMES.
- Military personnel (Active/Reserve)
- Retired military members
- Dependents of military personnel
- DoD Civil Service (Civilian) personnel
- Personnel with NSAB Access Credential with identified escort privileges

Unescorted/Pre-Vetted Access List
All visitors request to Naval Support Activity Bethesda (NSAB) must be submitted through an ENCRYPTED email to firstname.lastname@example.org(link sends e-mail) at least (3) business days in advance to NSAB Pass and ID Office. A copy of a completed SECNAV Form 5512/ 1 must accompany the email request and must follow the below format.
- Date of Access
- Visitor's Name (Last, First Name as it appears on Driver's License)
- Destination on Base
- Sponsor's Name
- Sponsor's Desk Telephone Number
All request must be submitted through a U.S Government Email Address (.EDU or .MIL), and the requestor must be active duty military or Civil Service member.
Visitors Same Day Access
If a DoD escort is unavailable or unable to meet the deadline of three business days, sponsors must submit an email request with the above format to email@example.com(link sends e-mail) (link sends e-mail)and direct the visitor to the NSAB Pass & ID office located in Building 102 (North Gate 1).
