Non BPA desktop/laptop will have to be approved by the USU Configuration Control Board (CCB). This sub-committee meets weekly.
Please note: Because of Security issues, OCIO does NOT support Home Editions of any Operating Systems. In addition, Microsoft VISTA is NOT supported on DoD networks at this time. Please ensure you request the installation of Windows XP or Windows 7 Professional Operating System.
If approved for a non-BPA system, the entire process could extend from 30-90 days. Factors for the extended turnaround include obtaining approval from USU CCB, processing by the Logistics department and the service desk building a special image.
