The USU Bike Club is a new student-led organization open to all military personnel, spouses, faculty and staff affiliated with USUHS. Please read further below to find out more about what the club does and how to join our Facebook group. Please contact me for information on how to order your very own club jersey.
What we do: The USU Bike Club aims to cultivate participation in and enjoyment of bike riding within the USUHS community. The club operates a Facebook page to connect individuals interested in group rides, promote cycling safety, encourage bike commuting, and facilitate the sharing of helpful information.

The USUHS "Fightin Docs" Ice Hockey Team
The "Fightin Docs" team is looking to recruit new members for the upcoming hockey season. Anyone affiliated with USUHS or Walter Reed (however loosely) is welcome to join. There are no restrictions on service, officer, enlisted, civilian, or student - all are welcome to join! Last year, we had team members from the school of medicine, graduate school of nursing, military and civilian faculty from USUHS, physicians and nurses from Walter Reed, IT support staff from USUHS, and even family members of service members stationed at Walter Reed. All skill levels are welcome to join, last year we had players who had only ever played pick up hockey and other pl
A few bullet points about the league: Players that played at the collegiate level. The league is very flexible with moving us up and down within divisions to accommodate the overall team skill level. Last year we were bumped up a division and placed third overall!
2016-2017 Winter Hockey Details
- 20 Regular Season Games
- Game Format: 3 - 15 Minute Stop Time Periods
- 5 Minute OT played in tie games, time permitting.
- Most games start between 8pm and 10pm.
- Double Elimination Playoffs for Teams that Qualify
- Detailed Stat Tracking & Regular Website Updates
- Awards to winning teams.
Hockey North America is a no checking / no fighting league that emphasizes safety and parity for adult players. The full playing rules & League policies are available in the "downloads" section of hna.com. After September 1, 2016 registration is non-refundable.
