We foster a worldwide perspective for Complex Surgical Care, Translational Research, and Medical Education. As the nexus of Surgery within the Military Health System, we are the preeminent military academic surgical department providing the Nation with physicians and surgeons dedicated to careers of service in the Department of Defense and the United States Public Health Service.

In the Spotlight

  • Dr. Rahul Jindal was selected to receive the 2015 Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) Civilian Award.  This award is given to Civilians who promote diversity and contribute toward representation of Asian American and Pacific and Islanders in their agency.
