30 May 2018: Ms. Erin Barry, Ms. Hannah Kleber, Drs. Neil Grunberg, and John McManigle presented USU LEAD Program for the Annual USUHS Education Day. 

16 May 2018: Ms. Erin Barry presented a poster for the Annual USUHS Research Day

15-18 May 2018: Drs. Eric Schoomaker, John McManigle, Neil Grunberg, and Lauren Mackenzie with Ms. Hannah Kleber and Ms. Erin Barry presented 4 sessions for a Pre-Directors Leadership Course at WRAIR. Topics included Introduction to Leadership; Emotional Intelligence; MBTI; Leaders, Managers, Followers; Team Building; & Intercultural Communication

30 April 2018: Ms. Hannah Kleber and Dr. Eric Schoomaker presented “Improvements in Care in the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars” to the medical students at the University of Michigan Leadership group

26 April 2018: LEAD Co-hosted the first annual Crisis Leadership Symposium with the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health (NCDMPH) at USUHS

9-10 April 2018: LEAD Hosted the Second Annual USU LEAD Summit at USUHS

Ms. Hannah Kleber presented “Emotional Intelligence” to the student leaders at Marianapolis Preparatory School on 28 March 2018.

Dr. Eric Schoomaker gave a Military Medicine Talk at Johns Hopkins University on 7 March 2018.

Ms. Erin Barry and Dr. Neil Grunberg participated in the monthly SGEA SIG Meetings in February and March 2018.

Dr. Neil Grunberg, Ms. Erin Barry, and Ms. Hannah Kleber participated in a meeting with RADM Klein from the Naval War College on 9 March 2018.

The LEAD Team participated in a meeting with the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) regarding leader and leadership development courses on 6 March 2018.

Dr. Eric Schoomaker participated in the Accupuncture and Integrative High Performance Team (HPT) on 14 February 2018.

Dr. Eric Schoomaker attended the National Cetner for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) National Advisory Council on 7 February 2018.

Ms. Hannah Kleber met with Harvard Medical School “Physician as Leader” program faculty to discuss LEAD in medical school curriculum on 29 January 2018.

Dr. Eric Schoomaker presented at the AMSUS Non-Pharmacologic Treatment of Pain Panel Discussion on 23 January 2018.

Dr. Eric Schoomaker and LTC Josh Hartzell presented “Service Leadership Talk” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on 18 January 2018.
