Biography
Dr. Jacob Van Orman is a staff neurologist and headache medicine specialist at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) in Fairfield, CA currently serving at the clerkship director for student education in the DGMC Neurology Department. He completed a BS in Neuroscience from the University of California at Riverside in 2011 followed by time working as an EMT and ambulance operator in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, CA before entering medical school in 2013. After completing his MD at the University of California at Riverside School of Medicine in 2017 he entered the neurology residency program at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX followed by completion of a headache medicine fellowship from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2022. He was privileged to receive an appointment of Assistant Professor of Neurology with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 2022, where he helps to precept and supervise USUHS medical students as a national faculty member.Career Highlights: Positions, Projects, Deployements, Awards and Additional Publications
