Biography

Dr. Collins is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Professions Education. Holding a DPhil in Education from the University of Oxford, her doctoral research investigated how medical education spaces influence the ontological transformation of medical students in America. Drawing on interdisciplinary scholarship, she integrates phenomenological, ethnographic, narrative, and arts-informed inquiry to explore lived experience. Her scholarship is enriched by an extensive background across medical school admissions, curriculum development, and student affairs.
