Biography

Dr. Abigail Konopasky is an assistant professor of medicine in the Center for Health Professions Education at Uniformed Services University. She received her PhD in Educational Psychology from George Mason University, where she developed functional linguistic tools to explore learner agency, and her PhD in Linguistics from Princeton University, where she studied language structure. Dr. Konopasky mentors graduate students, teaches and advises in the HPE program, and advises the medical student special interest group, the Health Education Interest Group for Higher Training (HEIGHT). She also leads the Diversity, Gender, and Cultural Impact theme for the Long-Term Career Outcome Study (LTCOS).
