Biography

Dr. Michael Soh is an assistant professor of health professions education at the Uniformed Services University (USU). He received his PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles where his doctoral work largely focused on humanism in healthcare. Prior to USU, Dr. Soh served in multiple academic roles in primary care, surgery, geriatric medicine, and higher education. He mentors graduate and medical students, teaches in the HPE program, and supports the Long-Term Career Outcome Study (LTCOS) at USU. He is actively involved with Division I (Education in the Professions) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and reviews for various journals and conferences in HPE.
