Biography

Jennifer Trautmann, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, CPNP-PC, is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner/Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program at the Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing. She has extensive experience as a Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, with roles at various hospitals and clinics, including Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Family Medicine, spanning over 20 years. Dr. Trautmann has received numerous honors and awards, including the GSN Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching from USUHS and the Nursing Outlook Excellence in Practice award. Her research focuses on areas such as parenting challenges of military families and moral distress in nurse practitioners.
