Biography

Col Kevin Baldovich is an active duty U.S. Air Force physician who has served the military for 19 years. He currently serves as Assistant Professor and Vice Chair for Medical Education of the Department of Preventive Medicine & Biostatistics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU). Col Baldovich completed his undergraduate degree at the West Chester University of Pennsylvania and medical school at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, entering the Air Force through the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). He completed his Family Medicine residency at the Malcolm Grow Medical Center on Joint Base Andrews. At the midpoint of his military career, he came to the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) to complete a second residency in Preventive Medicine and obtain his Master of Public Health (MPH). Col Baldovich has had a wide breadth of assignments in both Aerospace and Preventive Medicine, including four years over-seas, running aeromedical evacuation services from a Role 3 hospital in Afghanistan, serving as the Chief of Preventive Medicine at the U.S. Air Force Academy during the COVID-19 pandemic, writing policy for the Air Force Medical Agency as the Integrated Operational Support Chief of Preventive Medicine. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine. His research interests focus on obesity and preventive services in military populations.
