Biography

LT Kimberly Tozer is a certified registered nurse anesthetist in the United States Navy. She was selected in 2017, as a phase II clinical instructor at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) for the Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing, Nurse Anesthesia Program.

LT Tozer commissioned in 2008 through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Core and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marquette University. After graduation, she completed tours as a Medical-Surgical and Intensive-Care Unit nurse at NMCSD. She also deployed during that time on the USNS Mercy, Pacific Partnership 2010 humanitarian mission. LT Tozer was selected for the Navy Nurse Corps Anesthesia Program in 2012 and received a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 2014. After graduation, she served as a staff nurse anesthetist at NMCSD while concurrently pursing her Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Texas Wesleyan University, completing the program in 2017. Her clinical interests include regional anesthesia and she is an active member of the NMCSD acute pain service.
