Biography

Laura Freedenberg is a Program Manager at the Uniformed Services University's Center for Global Health Engagement (CGHE). In her role, she manages CGHE’s programmatic and subject matter expert support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP). Prior to her current role, Laura supported CGHE’s Training and Professional Development Division through teaching and curriculum development for a number of global health engagement courses geared towards various U.S. Military Health System audiences.

Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Indiana University and a Master of Public Health from Boston University, where she concentrated on global health and managing disasters and complex humanitarian emergencies. She has experience working on public health and preparedness programs at local, state, and federal government levels.
