Biography

Captain Maria K. Majar is a Medical Service Corps Officer in the United States Navy and holds a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Washington. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and a Certified Safety Professional by Board of Certified Safety Professional. During her career she has held various Industrial Hygiene and Executive Medicine positions. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Director of the Occupational Environmental Health Science Division.

Research:
Interest areas are chemical exposures, noise and whole body vibration occupational exposures.
