Biography

Dr. Tzu-Cheg Kao is a professor of biostatistics at division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics, Uniformed Services University. Dr. Kao received BS in Mathematics, National Kaohsiung Normal University, MS in Mathematics, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan; PhD in Statistics, Purdue University. Dr. Kao has 90+ peer-reviewed publications in applied statistics and epidemiology including pre-clinical and clinical studies for health-related biomedical research; has taught statistical and computing courses, plus mentoring and advising for undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Kao’s professional interests are applying statistical methods to do collaborative research with clinicians and scientists for various projects.
