ABOUT THE COURSES WE OFFER

TSNRP provides educational and career resources to support military nurse clinicians, nurse scientists, nursing students, and nurse leaders at every stage of their careers. Educational programs are designed for military nurses who are eligible for TSNRP funding; however, civilian nurses working within military facilities may also attend the programs on a space available basis.

Educational programs provide nurses with information on designing, implementing, analyzing, and disseminating nursing research and evidence-based practice projects; help improve the quality and quantity of nurses’ research proposals; and facilitate the translation of research findings into clinical practice. The type, frequency, and location of the programs are determined by Service need–driven requests. The programs are held primarily within military treatment facilities.

What We Do

We offer courses annually to support the TSNRP community: Research and EBP Dissemination Course, Research & EBP Grant Camp, and Writing Workshop.

Annual Courses

We offer several courses on an as-needed basis. Most popular is the Evidence-Based Practice for Military Nursing & Readiness. These courses are requested by the nursing leadership at military treatment facilities.

Courses Offered As Needed

An important TSNRP strategic goal is to provide a triservice infrastructure to enhance military nursing research and advance Evidence-Based Practice. The TSNRP Resource Center is able to provide textbooks, software licenses, and other resources that can be used at individual military facilities and within military organizations.
