Because dissemination and use of study results are integral components of the research process, TSNRP strongly supports dissemination of your findings through journal articles, presentations, and other avenues.
DISSEMINATION REQUIREMENTS
According to your grant agreement, release of study information outside TSNRP requires:
- A sponsorship statement.
- Clearance by a Department of Defense (DoD) Public Affairs Office.
POST AWARD GRANT MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
You must include the following sponsorship statement in all abstracts, manuscripts, press releases, presentations, and other publications:
This project (or research) is (or was) sponsored by the TriService Nursing Research Program, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences; however, the information or content and conclusions do not necessarily represent the official position or policy of, nor should any official endorsement be inferred by, the TriService Nursing Research Program, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the Department of Defense, or the U.S. Government.
DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE PUBLIC AFFAIRS CLEARANCE
You must submit to TSNRP a copy of each publication or presentation and the corresponding Public Affairs Office clearance document from your military command.
If you do not have access to a DoD Public Affairs Office, we will facilitate the process of obtaining clearance on your behalf. Prior to dissemination, submit a copy of the publication or presentation to TSNRP. Please allow us two weeks to process these requests.
