WHAT WE DO

The Uniformed Services University Office of Inspector General (USU OIG) provides advice and support to the University President, Organizations, and Personnel focused to promote economy, efficiency, and reduction of fraud, waste, and abuse to enhance the readiness and mission capabilities of the University.

The USU OIG conducts the four Defense IG functions of Assistance, Inspection, Investigation, and Teach & Train in compliance with federal and DoD laws, rules, and regulations. These functions allow the USU OIG staff to act as the eyes, ears, voice, and conscience of the President, USU, and inquire and report on the discipline, efficiency, economy, morale, training, and readiness of USU.

To request IG action on a University issue, please contact the OIG Hotline:
